摘要

A carbon nanofiber/poly(methyl methacrylate) nanocomposite is provided to prevent reduction of mechanical properties and have improved thermal stability and frictional and wear characteristics by using a small amount of carbon nanofiber as filler. A carbon nanofiber/poly(methyl methacrylate) nanocomposite includes a poly(methyl methacrylate) resin and carbon nanofiber as filler. The carbon nanofiber has an average diameter of 50-300 nm and a length of 1-50 micron. The carbon nanofiber is contained in an amount of 0.1-10 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the poly(methyl methacrylate). The nanocomposite has a friction coefficient of 0.03-0.18 mu and a thermal decomposition initiation temperature of 230-257 °C.
