FABRICATION METHODS OF SOLUBLE POLYPYRROLE

A method for preparing a conductive polypyrrole solution is provided to improve the solubility of a polypyrrole in an alcohol or a commercial organic solvent. A method for preparing a conductive polypyrrole solution comprises the steps of dissolving a polypyrrole doped with dimethyl sulfone sulfonic acid(HSS) in a solvent selected from ethylene glycol, methyl pyrrolidone(NMP), methyl sulfoxide(DMSO), dimethylformamide(DMF), tetrahydrofuran(THF), ethylene glycol-methyl pyrrolidone, ethylene glycol-methyl sulfoxide, ethylene glycol-dimethylformamide, dichloromethane-methyl pyrrolidone, dichloromethane-methyl sulfoxide, dichloromethane-dimethylformamide, tetrahydrofuran-methyl sulfoxide, tetrahydrofuran-methyl pyrrolidone and tetrahydrofuran-dimethylformamide.
