METHOD FOR SELECTING SINK AGENT OF MOBILE SINK NODE IN THE ZEEBEE NETWORK BASED ON IEEE 802.15.4

A method for selecting the sink agent of a mobile sink node in a Zigbee network based on IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 802.15.4 standards is provided to select a router with the lowest amount of energy consumption as the sink agent of a mobile sink node on the basis of the energy consumption amount of each router, thereby enabling the mobile sink node to be combined with the optimal sink agent capable of preventing data transceiving from being stopped by an energy scarcity in the data transceiving. A method for selecting a sink agent comprises the following steps of: transmitting an advertisement message for requesting combination to routers on a Zigbee network(S1); receiving a response message having information about the energy consumption of the routers from each of the routers in response to the advertisement message(S2); selecting a router with the lowest amount of energy consumption as the sink agent of a mobile sink node on the basis of information about the energy consumption amount of the routers(S3,S4); and transmitting a combination request message to the selected sink agent(S5).
