A system for offering an ASP service based on a grid technology and a server pool assigning method thereof are provided to increase a server usage and satisfy a quality of customer service at the same time by managing server resources in a shared server pool style and variably assigning the server resources depending on a size of workload. A server pool(300) comprises a plurality of servers for processing an application service. An application service part(100) receives an application service request from a customer and provides an application service result to the customer. An application platform(200) dynamically assigns the servers according to the usage and processing workload of the server providing an assignment type application service according to the application service request. The application platform dynamically assigns the server resources by determining whether a non-assignment type application service is able to be completed in a delivery term based on work progress of the server providing the non-assignment type application service. A storage(400) stores an application, processing data, and raw data for processing the application service, and a service policy of the ASP.
