A cinerary urn for natural burial and a natural burial method using the same are provided to remove an empty space in the cinerary urn filled with remains by forming an expandable portion at a cinerary urn main body which expands and contracts selectively. A cinerary urn for natural burial comprises a cinerary urn main body(100), a cinerary urn cover(200), and a mixed soil. The cinerary urn main body is made of biodegradable plastic material and contains cremated remains for burial. The cinerary urn cover is made of biodegradable plastic material and contains the main body. A rope(210) is fastened around the top part of the cinerary urn cover to seal the cinerary urn cover, with the cinerary urn main body contained in the cover. The mixed soil is poured into the cover to fill the space between the cinerary urn cover and the cinerary urn main body, wherein kaolin and charcoal are mixed at a predetermine rate. The main body includes a main body(110) and an upper cap(160). The main body is opened at the top and contains the remains. The upper cap is mounted at the top of the main body and has a hole(170) at the center communicating with the inside of the main body. A marking post(300) is made of biodegradable plastic material and inserted in the hole of the upper cap.
