A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE AUSTENITIC HIGH MANGANESE STRIP WITH EVAPORATED VOLATILE FUME CAPTURING DEVICE OF A TWIN-ROLL STRIP CASTER

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing high manganese slab using volatile vapor gas collector of twin roll strip caster is provided to manufacture non-defective slab and extend use cycle of casting rolls by collecting and removing volatile vapor gas generated from the surface of molten steel pool. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing high manganese slab using volatile vapor gas collector of twin roll strip caster comprises the processes of flowing volatile vapor generated from the surface of the molten steel pool together with an atmospheric gas into an inner space of the filter part(10) by transmitting a certain magnitude of suction force into a shield space during operation of the suction motor(30); continuously flowing an atmospheric gas from which contaminants are primarily filtered as the atmospheric gas passes through the ceramic fiber(12) of the filter part(10) into the inner space (P2) of the deposition part(20); and exhausting an inert gas from which volatile vapor gas is secondly adsorbed and removed by the depositing metal plate(22) of the deposition part into the outside through the gas suction line(33), wherein the volatile vapor gas collector comprises a filter part(10) in which a large amount of ceramic fiber(12) is filled in an inner space (P1) of a ceramic covering wire mesh(11); a deposition part(20) in which a large amount of depositing metal plate(22) is filled in an inner space (P2) of a metal case(21), and which is mounted on a lower surface of meniscus shield(9); inlets(31) correspondingly assembled into suction holes(32) of the metal case; a suction motor(30) communicatingly connected to the inlets by means of a gas suction line; and cooling water pipes(45) arranged in a plurality of columns in the metal case.
