STUDLESS SNOW TIRE TREAD RUBBER COMPOSITION WITH SNOW SENSOR

A rubber composition for studless snow tire treads is provided to improve the driving quality and handling characteristics, grip force, braking performance and acceleration quality on snowy/icy road surfaces. A rubber composition for studless snow tire treads comprises: 100 parts by weight of base rubber; and 5-50 parts by weight of a snow sensor, wherein the snow sensor comprises a master batch containing, based on 100 parts by weight of the base rubber, 40-90 parts by weight of at least one selected from silica and carbon black, and 5-50 parts by weight of glass flakes or needle-like zinc oxide. The snow sensor is obtained by vulcanizing the master batch to 50-100%, followed by crushing.
