A method for configuring an ATCA(Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture) server board with a standard server board and a device thereof are provided to configure a highly integrated system by mounting a usual high performance server board to an ATCA slot having two third height of the 1U(44 millimeters) standard slot without modifying a heat sink plate and a memory module, which are developed in a usual 1U standard. An ACTA board(200) includes a first part for mounting components satisfying an ATCA standard, a second part for mounting the components not satisfying the ATCA standard, and a third part for mounting standard server boards(310,320). The third part is overlapped to the first and second parts. A part of components is escaped from the height of ATCA slots(212,222) at a side of the ATCA board by mounting the standard server board on the third part. The first power includes a power supply unit, and the second part includes a CPU(105), a memory module(103), and or a heat sink plate(104). A front panel(240) is combined to the ATCA slots at a front side of the ATCA board. The height of a portion, which mounts the components having the height of 30-60 millimeters, of the front panel is increased, and the height of the portion for mounting the components having the height smaller than 30 millimeters is decreased.
