Localization Method for Wireless Sensor Networks and Localization Device for the same

摘要

A wireless sensor network localization method and apparatus are provided to reduce repetition of neighbor node information and reduce overhead about message exchanges and location calculation by using an adaptive power control method. The location of a sensor node is roughly measured by using an OCLA(Overlapping Circle-based Location Algorithm)(S1). Each sensor determines whether the accuracy of the location is satisfied(S2). If the accuracy is not satisfied, each sensor performs measurement by using an NPLA(Neighbor Position-based Localization Algorithm)(S3,S4). The accuracy of the measured location is still too low(S5), the sensor node sequentially increases an NTLR(Neighbor Table List Request) message transmission power level(S6).
