A monomer of 4,4'-oxybis[N-(4-amino-2-alkoxyphenyl)benzamide] is provided to have high flex resistance and a low coefficient of thermal expansion, and give high bonding force between polyimide film and metal film. A monomer of 4,4'-oxybis[N-(4-amino-2-alkoxyphenyl)benzamide] has a structure represented by the following formula 1, wherein R is CnH2n+1 and n is an integer of 1-12. A polyimide precursor composition comprises a reaction product prepared by a condensation reaction of a dianhydride compound and a diamine compound including 4,4'-oxybis[N-(4-amino-2-alkoxyphenyl)benzamide]. The dianhydride compound and diamine compound are used in a molar ratio of 95:100-105:100.
