METHOD FOR REMOVING CATARACT IN LENS SUBLUXATION CASES

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out circular capsulorhexis through small tunnel incision and hydrodissection, implanting intracapsular ring. Nucleus is centrally pinned on its frontal surface side with ultrasonic needle and fixed with vacuum. The nucleus is turned with its equatorial part at an angle of 45-50° about nucleus axis passing in 6 and 12 o'clock direction. Manipulator unit, having working part manufactured as L-shaped hook, is brought close to back surface of the nucleus. The distal end is applied to the nucleus back surface center in a way that the manipulator working part plane is set in perpendicular to the equatorial nucleus plane arranged in 6-12 o'clock axis position. Concurrent movement of the manipulator and needle to meet each other is carried out to produce a nucleus crack that is transformed into fracture caused by one stage needle movement upward and manipulator movement downward. Upper nucleus part available in the anterior chamber is emulsified and the remaining nucleus portion is brought to the anterior chamber and emulsified. Intraocular lens is implanted into the capsule sack after its becoming completely empty.;EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications; short rehabilitation period; improved functional results.;2 cl
