FIELD: measurement equipment, particularly to control tightening of reinforcing ropes and bundles in pre-stressed structures (reinforced concrete shells and atomic power station reactors, high towers, bridge structures, roofed sport and entertainment facilities end so on).;SUBSTANCE: method involves installing calibrated force taking sound-proofed metal inserts in loaded support fastening structures of rope-bundle reinforcement ends, wherein the inserts have acoustoelasticity effect and work in compression in resilient deformation range; receiving information concerning forces in rope-bundle reinforcement by ultrasonic probing thereof via measuring channels with the use of ultrasonic transducers along with following determination of time(rate) of signal propagation in loaded inserts.;EFFECT: provision of objective control of reinforcement tightening without additional loading thereof, increased time of reinforcement tightening measurement regime duration and elimination of reinforcement pulling aside for direct jack measurement, as well as force measurement sensors replacement or periodic examination.;5 cl, 1 dwg
