METHOD FOR PREVENTING VASCULAR TUNIC DETACHMENT IN POSTOPERATIVE PERIOD OF FILTERING TYPE ANTIGLAUCOMA OPERATIONS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: method involves piercing scleral capsule of an eye in flat ciliary body part projection after having opened anterior chamber, when performing penetrating filtering interventions, or after filtration occurring through exposed part of trabecule-descemet membrane, when performing nonpenetrating operations. To avoid lens injury, the pierce is carried out with injection needle placed at acute angle. Air-gas mixture is introduced into ciliary body cavity in the amount providing intraocular pressure within the limits of 24-25 mm of mercury column. When terminating the surgical intervention, the air-gas mixture is additionally introduced into ciliary body cavity to support intraocular pressure at required level of 24-25 mm of mercury column.;EFFECT: avoided postoperative vascular tunic abnormalities and mediated postoperative hypotonia; stable normalized ophthalmotonus.
