FIELD: systems for protection of spacecraft against orbital fragments.;SUBSTANCE: proposed electromagnetic system includes at least two protective insulated plates made from conducting material and mounted one after the other in way of flow of orbital fragments; plates are connected in parallel to voltage supply source. System is provided with orbital fragment contact sensor which is mounted in front of inner (in way of flow of orbital fragments) protective plate and amplifier-shaper.
