FIELD: primary processing of bast crops.;SUBSTANCE: method involves processing flax stems under field conditions with 1-2%-aqueous solution of carbamide at flow rate of solution of 200-600 ml per 1 kg of flax straw; initially processing strip top part after slight natural drying of stems, then strip lower part, immediately after first strip winding process.;EFFECT: intensified seasoning of fiber, reduced loss of quality of raw material and intensity of harvesting works, and also, process does not need substantial capital expenses.;1 ex
