FIELD: processes for bronze coatings application.;SUBSTANCE: method for applying coatings of phosphorus containing bronze onto inner and outer surfaces of cylindrical parts in the form of sleeves comprises steps of placing electrode made of material of applied coating over worked surface of part; imparting rotation to part and to electrode around their own axes; supplying electric current pulses to electrode and then imparting to part translation motion along its axis while feeding argon to working zone; in order to improve integrity of coating and to lower roughness of coating, imparting translation to part and during working process setting number of electric current pulses in range (0.78 - 0.85)N, where N - number of working electric current pulses per second at performing process of coating application in air; setting value of translation motion of part in range 1.10 - 1.15 mm/rev; setting number of passes according to total thickness of coating.;EFFECT: improved integrity, reduced roughness of coating.;6 dwg, 1 tbl
