A method for determining a diffusion-weighted image in the diffusion-weighted mrt - imaging, comprising the steps of:a) measuring and storing of a not diffusion weighted and a diffusion-weighted data set by means of an exposure of the - sequence (double echo steady state sequence), wherein for the diffusion weighted data record two read-out gradients are successively switched and for the diffusion-weighted set of data between two read-out gradient a bipolar diffusion gradient pulse train is switched,b) calculating a diffusion-weighted mrt - image on the basis of the not diffusion weighted and of the diffusion-weighted data record, as well as on the basis of a measurement value characterizing the diffusion-weighted.
