New combination pills (A), designated 'biopills', contain a gestagen (I) and a phytoestrogen (II). Alternatively (I)/(II) combinations are formulated in dosage forms other than pills, e.g. implant or depot formulations. ACTIVITY : Antifertility. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Gestagen; Estrogen.
