The fire barrier has a burnout-safety-panel for blocking fire in a partition wall area (102) of an aircraft body. An air passing line is provided for making available a defined air flow through the fire barrier during the normal operation of the aircraft, so that a rapid decompression is made possible. A base element is provided, which is connected with the burnout-safety-panel. The air passing line is provided as air gap between the base element and the panel, so that air, which is needed for the rapid decompression or air conditioning, flows by the fire barrier.
