Stationary optical-flat Fourier transform interferometer for static Fourier-spectrometer, has plate spitting wave front into identical, mirror imaged wave fronts, which has optical path difference produced as position-dependent function
The interferometer has a plan-parallel plate (1) made of material that is optically permeable in an interest spectral region. Two surfaces (2, 3) are mirror-imaged in the region. The plate spits a wave front into two identical, mirror imaged wave fronts, which leave the plate at a rear boundary layer. The wave fronts exhibit a shear strain and an adjustable path difference, which is made to null and is produced as a position-dependent function. An anti-reflection coating is applied to a rear side of the plate, where the wave fronts are different in amplitude and phase. An independent claim is also included for a static Fourier-spectrometer, comprising an interferometer and an optical system.
