The locking device (09) has a transport unit (2), a position reporter, which is provided at another transport unit (03)and a position sensor, which is arranged at former transport unit, in such a way that it actuates the position reporter directly, if the former transport unit captures the transfer position. The locking device is provided at a stop position of the former transport unit and stays in contact with the former transport unit in such a way that a displacement of the former transport unit is possible, as long as the later transport unit does not captures the transfer position.
