The incubator for regulated humidification and heating for cultivation of cells and tissues, comprises an inner area sealed against the environment, a humidifier (3) exhibiting a humidity source that is heatable by a heating element (15), and a back supply unit. The humidity is supplyable from the humidifier into the inner area. The interior temperature of the inner area is adjustable by incubator heating and/or cooling mechanism (4). The air from the inner area of the humidifier is supplyable into a first circuit (7) and is returnable into the inner area. The incubator for regulated humidification and heating for cultivation of cells and tissues, comprises an inner area sealed against the environment, a humidifier (3) exhibiting a humidity source that is heatable by a heating element (15), and a back supply unit. The humidity is supplyable from the humidifier into the inner area. The interior temperature of the inner area is adjustable by incubator heating and/or cooling mechanism (4). The back supply unit is arranged in the inner area, in which the first and the second circuits flow and in which its partial stream is mixed before entering into the inner area. The heating element of the humidifier is regulatable in power dependent manner.
