The device has a sensor body (1) connected to a process container, and a tube-like sensor holder (3) movable between calibrating and measuring positions in a cylindrical guide channel (2) of the body. A measuring sensor (7) is held in the holder, where a calibrating chamber (13) is formed between the holder and the channel. Nozzles (18) and exhaust openings (21) calibrate- and/or rinse fluid flow in the chamber. The openings and nozzles are arranged together with an axial displacement, where two nozzles are designed as the nozzles flowing against the sensor with a tangential angle.
