Internal combustion engine operating method, involves determining actual value for fuel amount injected into cylinder based on two extremes of pressure signal of pressure sensor, where extremes are formed within crank angle interval
The method involves determining a cylinder-specific actual value for a fuel amount injected into a cylinder based on two extremes of a pressure signal of a pressure sensor (180), where the extremes are formed within a crank angle interval. The pressure sensor is arranged in an exhaust gas section (120) of an internal combustion engine (100), and actuators (151-154) e.g. piezoactuators, are provided for controlling a fuel delivery control phase in the cylinder of the engine. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program for executing a method for operating an internal combustion engine (2) an electronic memory for storing a computer program (3) a control device for an internal combustion engine.
