The method involves magnetically covering a vehicle body part in a direct proximity of an area with magnetic foil, mat and/or molded part during a cutting or material removing process to bind metal abrasion, metal chips or metal dusts. The process is taken up in an electrical measuring position or position of the body part provided for electrical contacting which is partially covered by a varnish layer. The molded part has a structure that is adapted to the body part.
