Green body (I) for molded body, comprises at least two different solidified powder mixtures containing a ceramic powder and a coloring metallic component and/or a coloring pigment, respectively, where the two powder mixtures differ in its composition of coloring metallic component and/or coloring pigment. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of a ceramic comprising preparing the green body and subsequently sintering; and (2) color gradient ceramic obtained by the process.
