The method involves determining a characteristic value and assigning the value to a pixel by a processor. A parameter of a time function is determined based on the value so that deviation of the parameterized time function from the value is minimized. A type and/or dimension is determined and is assigned to the pixel. Characterization of whether the pixel corresponds to a container and perfused and non-perfused parts of surroundings of the container is made. A partial area of an evaluation image is output to a user over a display device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a data carrier for execution of a method of evaluating two-dimensional projection image (2) a computer with mass storage.
