The installation structure has a carrying structure with a tubular pile (1) flushed by highest occurring waves. A predominant part of a used space enclosed by the installation structure is provided in the tubular pile. The tubular pile is anchored in a sea floor (2), where the tubular pile is stretched above a waterline during low tide. A structural part (4) with smaller cross section is connected above the tubular pile in a water column. An inlet (5) is provided at a side wall of the structural part. An independent claim is also included for a method for constructing an offshore installation structure.
