The method involves providing a roller blind that has a set of roller blind strips (1, 2, 3), which are movably connected with each other in a roller blind plane. The roller blind strips are sealingly and combinedly fixed in the roller blind plane in a pushed condition at the time of imprinting. The blind strips are defined with a visible area to be imprinted upward to a moving device of a flatbed ink jet printer, where the visible area is moved under a print head (6) of the flatbed ink jet printer and is imprinted. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for imprinting on a visible area of a roller blind (2) a connecting unit for connecting roller blind strips.
