The organic semiconductor layer has 30-200 parts by weight of an organic semiconductor (OSC) and 1-5 parts by weight to nanoparticles, which are electrically non-conductive and inert opposite to the organic semiconductor. The nanoparticles consist of one or multiple materials selected from the group of silicon dioxide, stannic oxide, titanium dioxide, zirconium oxide, glass, aluminum oxide, magnesium oxide, calcium fluoride and barium fluoride. The nanoparticles have an average particle size within the range of 3 to 100 nanometer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Colloidal suspension for the production of a homogeneous-crystalline organic semiconductor layer (2) a method for the production of a homogeneous-crystalline organic semiconductor layer on a substrate.
