The dosing element comprises two dosing devices equipped with weighting device. A sensor device for the determination of filling quantity of the bulk materials is intended in the packing machine and comprises weight sensor and/or pressure sensor. The sensor device detects a measure for the total weight of the packing machine. The packing machine is carried out as rotating unit and as rows packer. The packing machine is hangingly loaded on a supporting device, and the measure for the total weight is deduced from a loading and/or deflection of the support device. An independent claim is included for a method for the operation of the packing machine for the filling of bulk materials in bags.
