The hood box (10) has a rigid flap (12), which is rotatbly connectable with a cabriolet vehicle (20) and forms a side part of the box. A center part (14), which is hinged at the flap forms a base part of the box and is connectable with the vehicle. The center part has a bellows structure (15), where elongations of the center part are compensated by elasticity of the structure during a movement of the box between a hood retaining position and a luggage retaining position. The bellows structure takes minimum energy in both the hood and the luggage retaining positions.
