Switching device for change speed gear box in motor vehicle, has stop units provided at engaging contours, where units directly or indirectly work together with gearbox housing and limit displacement path of shaft rod from neutral position
The device has engaging contours (N, 1, 2) incorporated into a shaft rod (24), where the contours are adjustably supported with a housing-side and works together with an engaging unit (42) for engaging the shaft rod in a neutral position. The engaging unit is prestressed against the engaging contour. A pair of stop units (24b, 24c) is provided at the engaging contours, where the stop units are directly or indirectly work together with a gearbox housing. The stop units limit the displacement path of the shaft rod from the neutral position.
