The device has a hot plate (5) provided for a carbon brush (1) and made of an aluminum material by extrusion molding and cutting, where the aluminum material is free from copper. An isolating layer (6) of the hot plate is manufactured by chemical oxidization of the aluminum material, where an external wall of the hot plate is equipped with another isolating layer (7). A holder (8) is fastened at one of bearing plates of a washing machine electric motor. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a guiding device for a carbon brush for a current transmission unit of a dynamo electric machine.
