The method involves creating a data base, in which sample image data and/or sample image data sequences are stored as goods-like or maliciously identified tissue samples. A weighting factor is stored for each sample, where the factor indicates whether the sample arises predominantly during good-like or malicious tissue changes. Each sample is analyzed to determine whether the samples stored in the data base are present within predetermined tolerances in the image and/or in the image sequence. An evaluation factor is formed from the sum of the priority factors of the existing samples. An independent claim is also included for a device for evaluating an image and/or an image sequence.
