The fan has a frame (21) with supports and guiding ribs (215) that are provided between the supports. Each guiding ribs has sheet-like inner surface (216), where the supports and the guiding ribs form lateral air inlet openings (217). A wheel (22) is arranged in the frame and a wheel hub (221) is supported in a center of the frame. A set of blades is radially arranged around the wheel hub and contacts with external air. The guiding ribs have a constant distance from outer edges of the blades. The guiding ribs are connected with the supports at both ends.
