The motor has a polar groove filling unit that is provided with a stator packet (1) in a polar groove. A connection device (5) and the polar groove filling unit are formed as a single-piece component. The connection device has plug contacts and a protective housing (6) that is provided with a cover (13). The cover formed as a single-piece is guided at the housing over a hinge-joint and includes a locking unit (14) for connection with the housing in a firmly-positioned manner. A pushing/clamping projection is arranged at an inner side of the cover for strands and/or electrical lines.
