Production of a framework made from rod-like parts (10) comprises connecting the rod-like parts with auxiliary elements (15n) defining a coordinate system of the rod-like part, tensioning the rod-like part in a computer-controlled processing device, processing the rod-like parts in the computer-controlled processing device, connecting the rod-like parts to a framework in a computer-controlled connecting device and removing the auxiliary elements from the rod-like parts.
