The sealing gasket is formed as sealing ring. The high temperature sealing is highly compressed. A reinforcing material having a metal foil is simultaneously intended in the winding composites. A radially surrounding front surface is intended at one of the two radial surfaces of the sealing ring and partially overlapping support rings (3) are intended at one of the two peripheral edges of the sealing ring. The mica webs and the reinforcing material are adhered together in the winding composites. The adhesive is solvent and residue-free.
