The device has an electrical switching device with a flap cover (2) e.g. rocker switch, for switching-on/off of the device. The switching device has a contact spring (4) that is deformed with the switch. The spring has a movable section with two guides, which are connected with each other at ends. The switch is engaged with one of the guides for moving the movable section. The other guide has a contact area for contacting predetermined units. The spring is designed such that compressive force of the cover on one of the guides is decoupled from a compressive force of the other guide.
