Support structure comprises a first support element (1) fixed to a bearing bolt (3) and a second support element (2) fixed to two bearing bodies (4). The bearing bolt pivots about its longitudinal axis opposite the second bearing element. Each bearing body comprises a bearing block (5) and a securing body (6) which is detachedly connected to the bearing block. The bearing block encloses the bearing bolt on three of four peripheral sides and the securing body forms an enclosure on the remaining side. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of the support structure. Preferred Features: The securing body completely encloses the bearing bolt. The securing body is formed by a perforated sheet metal strip.
