The screw has vertical slot surfaces (9) that are arranged parallel to each other, and slot supporting surfaces (10) inclined in an angle range of 0 to 20 degrees. A semi-circle and recessed centering surface (12) is supported in the center by two rounded top surfaces (11). A vertical top for a manual screw driver and for a screw rotating apparatus secures the centering of the screw driver in the screw for insertion, beginning and during screw rotating process, where the screw is made of ferrous metal. The supporting surfaces are inclined downward to an angle of 13 degrees. An independent claim is also included for a tool for use with a diametrically slotted screw.
