Superconductive magnetic field coil for use in high resolution nuclear magnetic resonance spectrography, has wire sections wound in layers of coil section in parallel manner, so that windings are adjacent and are connected in series manner
The coil (1) has superconductive wire sections (A, B, C) wound in layers (11, 12, 13) of a length-wise coil section in a parallel manner, so that the windings of the wire sections are adjacent and are connected in a series manner. A set of coil areas of the coil are bridged by a Ohm`s protective resistor (4) in such a manner that the areas produce a dipole moment during the operation. The wire sections exhibit niobium-titanium, niobium-tin and magnesium boride high temperature superconductor (HTSL) e.g. Yttrium barium copper oxide and/or bismuth strontium calcium copper oxide superconductors.
