The dial has an upper ceramic element (1a) with an outer surface that is coated with an enamel layer (3). A lower ceramic element (1b) has a housing (2) for moving and/or bonding of a dial foot (9), and is assembled on an inner face of the element (1a). The element (1b) has dimensions same as that of the element (1a). The element (1b) is assembled by bonding and/or welding. The elements (1a, 1b) have a thickness comprised between 0.4 and 0.5 millimeter. The element (1b) is formed of a metal plate and has a cross-section same as that of the element (1a). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an enamel dial.
