A method of generation and validation of tickets comprising the steps of input data in a generation server system tickets identifying the transaction on which the ticket relates, generation of a print file of the ticket image comprising a set of unique information specifying the transaction in a protected part of the image and transmitting the image of the ticket to a user print file. When generating the image of the ticket, a partial composting code is generated and stored in a generation server system database tickets, this composting code being related to the ticket image attributes. During composting of the ticket, a complete composting code is generated and transmitted to the user upon request of the user, complete composting code comprising the partial composting composting code and an additional code provided during composting.
