The method involves making a device housing part (10) e.g. transparent film, that is provided on its inner side (12) facing an interior of the housing with planar or partial print (15). The transparent, printed housing part is made on the printed side with another housing part (20) such that the print is arranged between the housing parts. A device housing (5) is formed from the housing parts that are firmly connected with each other and are mounted for other components. The planar or partial print is partially removed and/or changed by a marking laser (30).
