The connector (10) has a body (12) suitable for covering sections (56, 58) of lines (26, 30) e.g. cables, and has a hollow space (42) for receiving the sections, where the body is formed from partial elements (14, 16), which are fittingly joined to each other. The elements are provided with electrically conducting reservoirs (38, 44) containing fluid mass in such a manner that the elements withdraw the mass into the space during joining, so as to electrically connect the lines.
