The method involves centering a stator (2) to a preset position of a rotor (3), and deviating an inner outline of the housing from an outer outline of the stator. The stator is inserted and centered in the housing by using a separate device in a preset axis, and is encapsulated by a flowable, hardening grouting material in the housing. A hardening plastic is used as the grouting material, and a mounting unit is mounted before encapsulating the stator. An independent claim is also included for a motor spindle with a stator and a stator housing.
