The method involves repeatedly opening a filling valve (7) for repeated filling of products (2). Measured values are monitored based on a filled condition of the products into a tank (1). An opening level of a product inlet valve (9) is changed for filling the tank based on the monitored measured value. A ventilation valve (5) is stopped for ventilating the tank during repeated opening of the filling valve, during monitoring of the measured value and during changing of the opening level in a closed position.
