Coordinate measuring device stylus configuration adjustment method, involves using several rotatory and translative electric drives e.g. micro-servo actuator, for adjusting position of configuration to coordinate axes of measuring device
The method involves adjusting the position of a stylus configuration to coordinate axes of a coordinate measuring device by using several rotatory and translative electric drives e.g. micro-servo actuator. The position (6) of a touching form element (4) of a tactile-optical fiber scanner is determined through measurement of a ball position with an optical sensor, and adjusting paths for the electric drives of an adjustment clamp are computed. The stylus configuration is adjusted according to the natural oscillation principle. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for adjustment of a stylus configuration for a coordinate measuring device.
